Bayramaly A. Akhmedov is a highly qualified attorney who has a positive reputation in the business and professional network.
He began his professional career in 1977.
Mr. Akhmedov held positions of different ranks in the prosecution during the Soviet times and the Republic of Kazakhstan for nearly 20 years, especilally he worked as the Public prosecutor of Oktyabrskiy district of Almay City since 1989 till 1994.
From 1994 to 2003 he worked as the Judge of Supreme Arbitration Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Supreme Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Civil Affairs Board. For several years, he was elected as a member of the Presidency, the Supervisory board of the Supreme Court of Kazakhstan
As a member of the Supreme Court of Kazakhstan, Mr. Akhmedov was reviewing tax and economic disputes between legal entities and engaged in a generalization of jurisprudence on tax and investment disputes including projects on regulatory decisions. He participated in the drafting of the first Tax Code of Kazakhstan. At the same time he was actively involved in teaching activities related to USAID programs and ARDCH.
After the resignation of the Supreme Court of Kazakhstan in 2003 Mr. Akhmedov has obtained an attorney license, became a member of the Almaty City Bar Association (AGKA).
Over the next years he has successfully provided legal assistance to the major Kazakh and foreign companies.
He was working as a consultant on the Kazakh legislation in international commercial arbitration in Stockholm (Sweden).
He has always been growing up his qualification. He studied at the Commercial Law Course in Judge Colledge, Rino< Nevada, USA (August, 1996).
He takes part in seminars as Kazakh Tax Forum II (December, 2007), Earth's interior and Investments (March, 2007), Practice Procedures in International Commercial Arbitrate (November, 2006, Institute of Stockholm Trade Chamber), Goverance and Taxation in the Netherzelands (October-November, 2008).
In 2006 Mr. Akhmedov founded «Tax & Investment Lawyers» Attorney Firm, which is a member of the Almaty City Bar Association.
